Notre Dame Cathedral

Notre Dame Cathedral was made in 1163 to 1250.
The architecture was Maurice de Sully. He died in September 11, 1196.

Roman Guards

Another photo of a soldier of the Swiss Guards. By the way, the colorful costumes of the guards have not been designed by Michelangelo (as is stated quite often) but by a member of the guards in the 20th century. When the guards are on internal duties, they are wearing plain blue uniforms.

Venice

Venice has no roads, no cars and no bikes. Venice has boats and lots of them. The whole city is a labyrinth of waterways. To get around you have to get around most people use motorized boats called water buses but the traditional boats are called Gondolas.

Venice is held up by millions of logs and is sinking. In the last 100 years Venice has sunk 24 centimeters but in the 1000 years before it has sunken just 7 centimeters

This is a Vespa with a vintage BMW airstream trailer. You can fit 2 people in it but I guess you would be crammed up! There is the Ferrari logo above. Here is a video of a Ferrari Enzo v.s a Mclaren F1! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkfvQvc9ipI&feature=fvst

The origin of Caricature

A caricature can refer to a portrait that distorts the essence of a person or thing to create a visual likeness. Caricatures can be very insulting. The term has developed from the Italian caricare which means to charge.

The most common food that the Paris people eat is croissants. They
have got them in restaurants. Sometimes they eat snails.
