Is the Frankfurter from Frankfurt?

People from Frankfurt claim that a person from Frankfurt created it in 1484.

People also in Germany but in another city called Coburg say that Johann Georghehner created the Frankfurter. Then later went to Frankfurt and marketed it.

In Austria people believe that it originated in the city Wein as in Wiener. They think the Frankfurter originated from the Wiener.

So no one can be really sure about where it came from so it might have come from Frankfurt.
